Whiskers & Wine was founded by Kate Baumwell, a New Jersey native now living in Miami Shores, Florida. She grew up with multiple pets in the home at all times. During the pandemic, she decided to start fostering and never looked back. She has fostered over 70 cats and kittens (so far!)

After seeing the help needed for rescues in the South Florida area, she decided to combine her love for animals and wine to come up with unique ways to help rescue communities all over the country. She is an avid wine lover and has visited wine regions around the world, her favorite being anywhere in Italy!
